Mary Wiggin
Mary Wiggin, was in the Royal Navy as a Leading WREN after a spell in the Fleet Air Arm. Early in her career she was responsible for teaching precision bombing skills to bomber crews at Machrihanish Airfield. She then became Admiral Sir Bertram Ramsey's PA, up to and including D Day, where he was Commander in Chief of Operation ‘Neptune’, the naval component of Operation ‘Overlord’.
She was a remarkable lady, but above all she was a great mum.
